recent disputes

Acting for a utilities company in relation to an arbitration against the contractor for defective design and installation works.  This matter resulted in a successful negotiated settlement.  

Advising upon contract terms on behalf of a main contractor involved in a dispute both with its employer and design sub-contractors concerning major civils works.  

Advising a sub-contractor in respect of a potential health & safety prosecution regarding injury to a sub-sub-contractor.   

Acting on behalf of a main contractor in defending a claim in litigation from an employer concerning alleged defective car park surfacing works. 

Acting also in a claim against a sub-contractor in respect of the same works.
