Our current experience includes:-

• Advising local authorities on the development of both brown and green field sites, including considerable experience of joint ventures between public sector bodies, as well as with private developers.

• A number of major town centre development schemes, acting on behalf of the local authorities.

• Regeneration schemes, involving complex arrangements for disposal of land and construction of new public facilities.

• Giving advice to local authorities in relation to complex planning obligation agreements relating to the development of sites.

• Consortium and promotional agreements.

Our approachable team is led by David Danskin and Giles Ferin. David has many years experience of advising public bodies, including dealing with many landmark projects for English Partnerships, and is acknowledged as an expert in the public sector field in the 2006 edition of “Legal Experts”.  Giles is a specialist planning solicitor and has over 25 years experience of public sector matters, having formerly worked in Local Government and is also  acknowledged as an expert in planning matters in the 2006 edition of “Legal Experts”.
