Experienced Residential Property Solicitor/ Licensed Conveyancer/Chartered Legal Executive.

Northampton office (although the successful candidate will also be required to attend our other office locations as and when this is required by your manager). / Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9.00 am to 5.30 pm (37.5 hours per week). This role will be required to lead a small residential property team in the Northampton office.

KEY KNOWLEDGE AREAS:

  • Variety of residential property experience including sales, purchases and refinancing for both freehold and leasehold residential property.
  • Prior experience of also dealing with lease extensions and plot sales would be desirable.

 

KEY SKILLS:

  • Sound Residential Property experience with a recognised Residential practice including a good knowledge of the CQS scheme.
  • Ability to manage own caseload and manage a collaborative team.
  • Good drafting and proof-reading skills.
  • Intermediate to advanced IT and online systems ability (Microsoft Office, legal industry specific document management systems, online portals/datarooms etc.)
  • Commercial, practical and financial awareness.
  • Confidence and ability to communicate at senior levels.
  • Excellent academics.
  • Excellent interpersonal and marketing skills with a strong ability to develop contacts for the team and the firm.
  • Able to work collaboratively and fit into a friendly but busy team.
  • Good organisational ability.
  • Ability to work to deadlines and under the pressure that comes with residential conveyancing work.
