WE’RE DELIGHTED TO HAVE SUPPORTED REFORMIS LIMITED WITH THEIR ENTERING INTO CONDITIONAL SALE AGREEMENT FOR THE SALE OF ITS BUSINESS AND ASSETS TO DELOITTE MCS LIMITED

Our Corporate team recently assisted Reformis Limited with entering into a conditional agreement for the sale of the business and assets of the company and of its Australian and US subsidiaries to Deloitte MCS Limited: the largest international professional services companies in the world and one of the ‘Big Four’ accounting firms.

Founded in 2003 and headquartered in the UK (with offices in Australia and the United States), Reformis is a global strategic consultancy firm with approximately 90 employees, providing business, IT, and change management consultancy services to clients in the investment and wealth management markets. The firm has helped over 200 clients achieve their business goals by advising, designing, and delivering solutions globally, covering strategic, technical, operational, and change programs.

Upon completion, the combination of Reformis’ expertise with Deloitte’s existing capabilities and scale will be an important move towards offering investment management clients a broader range of technology-enabled services. Deloitte plans to invest and grow Reformis’ offering significantly, including doubling its headcount over the next five years and creating new roles in the UK in London, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

Brian Woodham, Reformis’ chief executive officer, said: “This is an exciting time for Reformis as we build on our achievements from the past 19 years. In that time, we have helped clients achieve their investment and wealth management business goals by advising, designing, and delivering data-led solutions globally: covering strategic, technical, operational, and change programmes.”

“EMW have been incredibly supportive in guiding Reformis through the transaction, providing excellent advice and direction. Their engagement with Deloitte and overseas counsel was efficient, pragmatic and always professional; a pleasure to work with.”
