Our Agency Contact Policy

At EMW, we value building strong and collaborative relationships when it comes to recruitment. To keep things simple and clear, we work exclusively with a trusted selection of recruitment agencies that are part of our Preferred Supplier List (PSL) and with whom we have agreed terms of business.

However, if you’re an agency either outside of our PSL or part of our PSL, we kindly ask you not to send speculative CVs or candidate details. Any such submissions, whether sent directly to a member of our team or otherwise, will not be considered as forming any kind of agreement between EMW Law LLP and your agency.

Just to be transparent, if candidate details are submitted to us speculatively by an agency, we reserve the right to get in touch with the candidate directly. In such cases, EMW isn’t responsible for any fees, charges, or other payments to your agency.

Additionally, submitting a candidate’s CV speculatively doesn’t grant any right of representation. If we receive the same candidate’s details from one of our trusted PSL agencies, we will treat that agency as the valid representative under our agreed terms.

Lastly, all candidate CVs should be sent to the HR team and not directly to any of our other team members. If this process isn’t followed, then no candidate will be treated as having been submitted for an active vacancy and will not be considered as forming any kind of agreement between EMW Law LLP and your agency so no fees, charges or any other payments to your agency will be due.

We appreciate your understanding and hope this helps clarify how we work with agencies.
